“Morning without you is a dwindled dawn.”
― Emily Dickinson
I love mornings.
………….. Very early mornings. I mean three and four AM mornings.
It’s an old fisherman’s habit I could never shake, and one I wish never to. Even in Mali there are seven mosques in hear shot that call the Muslims to prayer, and I am usually awake and reading.
“I love the smell of book ink in the morning.”
― Umberto Eco
This, “Old Pine”, video made me a bit melancholy for morning because the sun is out now and it is a finger snapping kind of morning.
This may have been a very trivial post… But that is ok. I’m up blessing the morning,
“Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself………. Morning brings back the heroic ages. There was something cosmical about it;”
― Henry David Thoreau,
